Wow and Wow! What a reminder of how rhythm and community can come together to be such a beautiful experience. With all the defending of our right to gather in the heart of our beautiful city as of late, I forgot how incredible it was to be ONE within thousands. Drummers, dancers, spectators - THOUSANDS of people...all coming together for the Love of Rhythm and Community. No permits, no one trying to control the circle-no facilitator's egos or people pushing their will on others...just Unity, One Community. It was truly a glorious experience and it recharged my batteries and reminded me what we are doing here and what we are doing this for. We honour the Tam Tams in Montreal and we honour ourselves each and every week. One Love my friends.

The energy and the power of our community keeps blowing me away. Our 3rd drum circle this year and we had the honour of 43 drums and over 200 people. New faces as well as our crew that have been coming out for years. People were dancing and laughing, drumming and being part of a group that had no expectations past being present in the moment. Truly beautiful. Two of the crew came to me and said "This is one of the best circle's ever!". I couldn't agree more. Here are some of the pics...
