Mae and I in Montreal for the Tam Tams - Sunday august 1, 2010

Wow and Wow! What a reminder of how rhythm and community can come together to be such a beautiful experience. With all the defending of our right to gather in the heart of our beautiful city as of late, I forgot how incredible it was to be One within thousands. Drummers, dancers, spectators - thousands of people...all coming together for the Love of Rhythm and Community. No permits, no one trying to control the circle-no facilitator's egos or people pushing their will on others...just Unity, One Community. It was truly a glorious experience and it recharged my batteries and reminded me what we are doing here and what we are doing this for. We honour the Tam Tams in Montreal and we honour ourselves each and every week. One Love my friends.
